Standard check-in is 3pm and check-out is 11am. The front desk is staffed 24 hours, so late arrivals are fine. If you need an early check-in or late check-out, please call or message us on LINE in advance — we'll do our best to accommodate, subject to availability.

Yes. The front desk is staffed 24 hours and there is also a self-service kiosk for quick check-in. A dedicated lift on the ground floor goes straight up to the front desk on the 10th floor.

Guest rooms are on the 9th and 10th floors and the front desk is on the 10th. A dedicated lift on the ground floor of the building goes straight to the 10th floor; each floor has its own key-card access.

It's about 1.5 km — a 12–15 minute walk, or 5–8 minutes by car. By bus, get off at the Zhonghua Rd. / Taiwan Blvd. stop (routes 1, 21, 25, 35, 61, 70, 100, 102, 301, 308) and walk 3 minutes, or at Sanmin Rd. Sec. 2 and walk 6 minutes.

The HSR station (Wuri) shares a building with TRA Xinwuri station: take a local train to Taichung Railway Station (about 10 minutes), then it's a 12–15 minute walk. A taxi straight from the HSR station also works.

We can arrange both airport and local transfers for you (paid, not a free shuttle): the driver quotes the fare on the spot based on your destination. Please let the front desk know at least an hour in advance and we'll book the car.

Scooters park free in the bays in the lane on the right of the building (if full, park by the pharmacy opposite, away from red lines). The building is mixed residential-commercial with no car park of its own, but Dacheng (indoor, $20/hr), Zhonghua (open air, $30/hr) and Second Market (indoor, $40/hr) car parks are a 3–10 minute walk. Roadside parking is free from 8pm to 8am. We have no EV charger on site; the public paid car park next door has charging points (charged at that car park’s rates).

Yes. On room rates of NT$1,150 or above we contribute NT$100 towards parking during your stay — just show your parking receipt at the front desk.

There is no in-house breakfast restaurant; we use vouchers instead. We partner with the Qburger Chenggong branch downstairs: a NT$100 voucher gets you a medium milk tea plus ham & egg toast or a chicken burger. Collect the voucher at the front desk first; serving hours are 07:00–10:00. The nearby Second Market also has plenty of traditional breakfast stalls within walking distance.

An en-suite bathroom (separate wet and dry areas, bidet seat), a flat-screen TV with a Xiaomi box for YouTube and Netflix, air conditioning, a kettle, cups and tea bags, two soft and two firm pillows, a down pillow and duvet, a full-length mirror and a cup noodle for late-night hunger. Towels (two large, two small), body wash, shampoo and hand soap are provided. A high-speed ionic hair dryer is in every room.

Free Wi-Fi throughout (mesh network), a lounge (projector, computer, artwork), a reading area, an art corridor, a microwave and a large fridge. Free to help yourself in the common area: ground coffee, 3-in-1 coffee, coffee bags, tea bags, sparkling water, a soda machine, hot water and biscuits. Coke and Sprite are NT$10.

All rooms have an exterior window and good natural light. The one exception is Economy Double R912, which has no window — please let the front desk know if you'd like that particular room.

Room walls are brick and the doors are 5 cm solid fire doors with a drop seal that lowers automatically when closed; floors are wood-grain rather than carpet. As long as no one is deliberately loud, it stays quiet. The building meets fire safety regulations, with certified extinguishing, alarm and escape equipment inspected on schedule.

No — the six-bed backpacker rooms are single-gender: one women's room and one men's room, each with its own bathroom inside the room (shared between that room's beds). Please pick the matching bed when you book.

Yes, there is one accessible room for guests with reduced mobility. Please confirm with the front desk before booking so we can hold it for you.

We offer one extra bed on request, and a baby bath tub can be borrowed from the front desk. Whether an extra bed fits depends on the room type and the day's occupancy — please ask us on LINE or by phone first.

Yes, two of them (R1011 and R1014). They have to be requested when booking, so please confirm with the front desk to hold one.

Yes. You're welcome to store luggage for free before check-in or after check-out — the front desk is staffed 24 hours.

There are no coin-operated machines in-house. We offer a laundry drop-off service priced by what you send — please ask the front desk for details.

Yes — both are directly opposite the building, less than a minute's walk.

Zhonghua Night Market is right downstairs. Within walking distance you'll find the Second Market, Miyahara, the Fourth Credit Cooperative, the Liuchuan waterfront walk, Taichung Park, the Taichung City Hall building and Central Book Store, with the Yizhong shopping district about 10 minutes on foot. For a late-night bite, try the Xinjiang barbecue skewers or Lin BBQ; local favourites include Tanzi stinky tofu, A-Quan gua bao, Chen's oyster omelette, the old-school satay beef and Fu Ding Wang pork knuckle.
